Not long now until the new school year begins!
For Year 7 students, the school year begins on Wednesday 5th September. Students should be in school by 8.20 am. However, the doors are normally open by 8.00 am and students are allowed to wait inside the building.
On this first day, only Year 7 and Year 12 students will be in school to allow new students to get to grips with how things work and find their way around, prior to the rest of the school community starting back on Thursday 6th September.
During the morning, students will have an assembly, and spend time in the tutor base where they will receive their student planner and timetable. They will also be allocated a locker and keys will be issued then. I'm sure there will be lots of questions, so plenty of time has been allowed to address issues that may arise on the first day.
